🔴 On a warm sunny evening Trim, who were promoted to Senior status in 2023, got their Senior Camogie Championship off to a winning start. Trim were out of the blocks quickly with an excellent point from Anna Foley. This was followed by three points in a row from play by Emma Hanifin after some brilliant passing by a very focused Trim team. Trim continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over with points from Shona White, Emma Hanifin, Leighann Massey, Amy Boyle and Anna Foley. Trim dominated the first 25 minutes of the first half and deservedly led by 0-10 to 0-0. A Clann Na nGael goal against the run of play got the home side on the scoreboard. Trim responded with two quick points to lead by 0-12 to 1-0 at half time.

⚾ On the resumption of the second half, Clann Na nGael opened the scoring with a point before Emma Hanifin responded with a well worked point for Trim. Clann Na nGael continued to battle with two points from frees followed by a goal which reduced Trims lead to four points. Trim again responded with a brilliant goal by Emma Hanifin which was followed by points from Shona White and Amy Boyle. Clann Na nGael added three points in a row from frees, but Trim answered with a point and the game ended with a brilliant win for Trim
Trim will look forward to the next round of the Senior championship and will take a lot of positives from a determined and very competent performance.
