TRIM GAA Membership Policy 2024

Key Membership Policy 

All Players/Managers*/Coaches/Mentors/Officers/Committee members MUST be members of Trim GAA club (*or another Club) and be registered with one of the GAA/Camogie Association/LGFA.

No Pay No Play

·       Trim GAA operates a strict No Pay No Play policy - players membership must be paid/instalments commenced before being considered eligible to play in any code.  

·       Once registered with the relevant associations (GAA/Camogie/LGFA), players* are covered by the Player Injury Fund.

* Note: G4MO & D&L memberships are not covered by LGFA or GAA player injury funds thereby members must have their own personal injury cover or the cover recommended by the relevant Association.

What does Membership Cover?

·       Affiliation fees to relevant bodies (GAA, LGFA, Camogie Association),

·       Access to and use of club facilities.

·       Cover by player injury fund*, maintenance and improvement of facilities, playing equipment, team preparation, utility bills.

Membership & Registration 

·       Membership can be paid in full or via instalments on ClubZap (payment options below).

·       Once membership is paid/instalments commenced members are registered with the relevant associations (GAA/LGFA/Camogie Association). 

Payment Options
Two payment options are available to all members: Pay in full - one payment OR Payment in Instalments as follows: 

·       Commence monthly instalments before 31/01/2024 to have option to pay over 5 months.

·       Commence monthly instalments after 01/02/2024 to have option to pay over 3 months.

Voting Rights 

·       In line with the GAA and Trim’s own club constitution, membership must be paid by 31st March in order for full members to have voting rights at the 2024 AGM.
