It is with great regret that we have learned of the sad passing of Tom Malone.
Tom first joined our Club in the early ‘70s having moved to Trim from Kildalkey.
He was recruited to help out at Juvenile level by the late Harry Connor.
For over a decade, Tom was involved with multiple teams as a coach and general helper.
He was also noted as a talented hurler who played for the Club for almost 25 years right up to his early 50’s.
Tom also served on Executive Committee for many years and was a tireless worker on any job required in St Loman’s Park.
Tom’s son Michael represented the Club in both Football and Hurling and won Hurling Championships in Minor, ‘83 and ‘84 and Junior ‘85.
Trim Gaa Club offer our sincere sympathy to Tom’s wife, Carmel and his family, Michael, Fr Liam, Kevin, Valerie, Teresa and Gary.
Rest in Peace Tom.
