Great Trim Gaa Hurler Passes Away .

Jackie (John) McCormack sadly passed away on Wednesday last following a short illness.

Jackie was one of our all -time great hurlers.

He had the honour of winning 6 Senior Hurling Medals.

He was goalkeeper for all six Championships including the famous 4 in a row team of 1954, 55, 56 and 57.

Jackie completed his sextet of medals by winning both the 1959 and ‘60 Championships.

Previously he had won a Minor Hurling Championship in the late 1940’s.

Jackie was always a true gentleman and never lost his love of Trim Gaa Club.
