Trim beat Walterstown with considerable ease last night in the second of three Div 2 Group C ACFL matches played at a damp St Lomans Park Last evening. In fact Trim had two Gals and Six points on the score board before Walterstown got their first point in the twenty fifth minute of the first half. The Trim Goals came from Aaron Lynch and Eoin O’Connor. The first goal was from the penalty spot which Lynch put away after he had done all the work as he was fouled to gain the penalty. The second goal was a masterpiece of team work from the town team, a swift interchange of passing the length of the pitch lead to Eoin O’Connor fisting the ball to the net. Points from Aaron Lynch (5) Daire Lynch (0-1) James Toher (0-1) completed the Reds first half scoring

Walterstown started the second half brightly and hit two points in the first three minutes. Arron Lynch scored the next point of the match for Trim, and the team in Black immediately responded with a point from A placed ball. Normal service was restored as Trim scored the next three scores, two Points from Lynch and a bullet of a goal from Neil Heffernan.
Game over as the day with twelve minutes to play . The sides traded A couple of points each in the last twelve minutes with Aaron Lynch and James Toher the marksmen for Trim.
