Full Time Trim 4-11 Dunboyne 1-7
The second round of LGFA Junior A football took place on Wednesday the 26th of August in Trim with the home team playing Dunboyne B.
The game started out at a fast pace with Rachel Hannon scoring the first point in the first few minutes and what a score it was.
In the first 20 minutes Trim scored regularly, capped off by a fine goal by Ciara McMorrow. In the run up to half time Trim were under more pressure defensively however Naoise Barry (player of the match) made two impressive saves to keep Trim in front and the first half ended with the score being Trim 1-06 to Dunboyne 0-1.
The second half started with the girls putting in huge effort on both sides of the ball with special mention to the midfield duo Chloe Bell and Bláthnaid Hughes.
Trim managed to find the net a further 3 times in the second half with Sinead Murphy(C) scoring a fabulous final goal.
