Our Intermediate Hurlers made it two wins in a row on Saturday with a hard-fought and tense victory over Kildalkey in Round 3 of the Championship.
Trailing by four points at half-time, the lads completely turned the game around after the break, producing a superb second-half performance with solid displays right across the pitch. They held Kildalkey to just four points in the second half as Trim took control.
The final few minutes were nail-biting as Trim held on to a one-point lead, digging deep and showing great composure to see out a very well-deserved win.
⚾ There was one very happy player-manager, Paddy, leaving the pitch along with joint manager Darragh, working hard from the sideline on a great performance from the lads.
