There is rarely much between Trim and Kildalkey, and this latest meeting was no different as both sides battled hard throughout an entertaining contest. It was Trim who came out on top, thanks to a strong team performance across the pitch.
At the back, Lauren Farrell and Grace Cullen were solid throughout, dealing well with Kildalkey's attacks and making a number of important interceptions and clearances when they were needed most.
Sarah O'Connor put in another hardworking display, covering plenty of ground, breaking up opposition play and linking defence with attack.
Further up the field, Emma Hanifen and Ellen Murray kept the scoreboard moving with some well-taken scores, while Ellen Birmingham also played an important role in defence, working hard to win possession and help keep Kildalkey at bay.
This was very much a team performance, with every player making a valuable contribution. Trim worked hard for each other from the first whistle to the last and deserved their win against a strong Kildalkey side.
