Comhghairdeas to our U15 Division A Shield Camogie Champions.
In a closely contested Division we finished third. We had a brilliant Championship where we narrowly lost out on contesting the cup final. We used 23 different players during the championship.
Playing at such a high level, its marvellous to see their enthusiasm and spirit come through every time that they cross the white line. We were delighted to be able to play some our u 14s also throughout the year.
Monday night's Shield final was an epic battle between close rivals and friends. Kilmessan like Trim have some extremely talented players, current and potential future Meath Stars. Both teams battled with everything they had for every ball but it looked like it was going to go against Trim as Kilmessan were extremely efficient in front of goal. Trim probably had twice as many chances on the night but they failed to convert them until really the last 10 minutes or so.
Some of the skill on show was delightful to see from both teams, high fielding, top class tackling, super first touch, low catches, taking on players and then point scoring of the highest order. Every Trim girl played their part on the night, they were all stars and contributed to a fantastic game of Camogie.
We are so proud of each and everyone of them and we hope that they continue to represent Trim in such an enthusiastic and successful way.
