Comhghairdeas to our Under 16 Premier footballers who secured an emphatic victory against Ratoath in the Premier Final in Ballinlough last Sunday.
Over the course of the league campaign, the team improved steadily following an early defeat to Ratoath, recording impressive victories against Ó Mathúna and Summerhill along the way. A May Bank Holiday Monday semi-final win over Simonstown saw them once again face old rivals Ratoath in the final on a sunny Sunday in north Meath.
The players displayed great confidence and teamwork throughout the match, qualities fostered by their management team of Leighton, Cathal, Stephen, Peter, Owen and Kieran. Míle buíochas from all the players to their coaches for the encouragement and dedication shown over the past few months.
The cup was presented to Jamie McLoughlin and Eoghan Murray.
