CLG Átha Troim would like to express our sympathy to the Hegarty Family on the sad passing of Jimmy.
Throughout the 1980’s, Jimmy was heavily involved in our Club.
He coached many Juvenile teams and also managed our Senior Football team for 2 years.
Jimmy, who was a respected teacher in St Michaels CBS, also coached a generation of our Club players in his role of mentor to the school teams.
His sons David, Paddy and Seamus played for our Club with great distinction in both football and hurling from Juvenile to Senior ranks.
To Jimmy’s wife, Mary his daughters Siún and Máire, sons David, Paddy and Seamus, we offer you our sincere condolences at this sad time.
