😊 CLG Átha Troim are pleased to announce the selection of our Peil na mBan U14 group, led by Colin Byrne, to participate in the brand-new LGFA initiative - Spreag í (Encourage Her)
🆕 This new initiative aims to enhance the enjoyment of football as well as increasing self-efficacy, teamwork, understanding of the role of sport in a healthy lifestyle, and fostering continued participation.
😊 Our players will receive visits from a known former or current intercounty player who will deliver the programme which focuses on four main themes:
- Being my best self (Goal Setting & Self-Confidence)
- Being a good teammate (Teamwork & Leadership Skills)
- Developing a Healthy Lifestyle (Building Positive Habits)
- Grá for the Game (developing a lifelong love of sport & continued participation)
