What a night for our Trim ladies as they closed out the final round of the Junior A Championship in style! 💪❤️
From the first whistle, Trim showed intent — Katie O’Brien opened the scoring with a superb goal after a perfect cross from Julianne, followed by fine points from Julianne and Ellen. Dunderry responded with a few scores of their own, but Trim’s forward line was on fire.
Katie struck again with her second goal, Julianne added a brilliant finish soon after, and Chantel netted twice before the break — leaving Trim flying high at 5-6 to 1-4 at half-time. 🔥
The second half saw Trim continue their dominance, with Julianne, Leah, and Ellen adding some fine points, and Chantel completing her hat-trick with another cracking goal! 👏
Substitute Orlaith Reilly made an instant impact — her very first touch found the back of the net to secure Trim’s seventh goal of the evening!
In the closing moments, a lovely ball in from Chloe set up Ellen for the final point, sealing a comprehensive victory for Trim.
Across the pitch, every player gave their all — Leah Boyle and Julianne covered every blade of grass, while Nessa and Aoife O’Brien stood strong in defence, supported superbly by Grace, Caoimhe, and Emma Mc. 💪
Emma Reilly kept the team organised and motivated throughout, and the tireless runs from Layla and Evelyn created endless opportunities up front.
No single standout tonight — just a full team effort from start to finish. Every girl in red and white played with heart and pride. ❤️🤍
