Thanks to everyone for the huge support in Boardsmill on Thursday evening. We were treated to a really skillful, tough, physical and competitive game.

The workrate, bravery and determination from the girls was brilliant.

The game was end to end with Trim playing into a strong wind in the 1st half, starting really well but just unable to covert early possession into scores. With the wind dying down by half time and the Mill up on the scoreboard the girls had it all to do in the 2nd half.

They fought back really well getting on top across the field and got within 2 scores of the eventual winners. The woodwork denied the girls 3 times on the night in what was a tight game in the end.

Congrats to a very good Boardsmill team on the win and credit to your club for having the pitch in immaculate condition which allowed both teams to demonstrate their skillsets.

We are extremely proud of our girls who will have another year at this age level. Thanks to all the girls for their hard work at training and games. The camaraderie within this group is fantastic and really adds to every team performance.
