A brilliant defensive clearance got the ball into Chantel and with a nice pass in Leah Boyle was there to raise the green flag for Trim. Clearing up everything inside the Trim defence were denying the Dunderry girls from taking any score. A through ball in from Ellen gave Leah Boyle another chance to fire home for her second goal of the day.
The Trim defense was formidable, preventing Dunderry from scoring in the first half, and Leah Boyle's two goals solidified their lead at the half time break.

Dunderry, however, mounted a spirited comeback in the second half, scoring two goals and adding to the intensity of the match. Emma O’Neill was once again back on the score board in quick response with a nicely taken point. Despite their efforts and the advantage of the wind, Dunderry couldn't overcome the well organised Trim defense and Trim continued to advance forward with Julieanne adding another point to the Trim tally.
The Trim girls held strong and an excellent ball in from Julieanne to Chloe Butler who, with a great point, got herself onto the score sheet. A final goal from Mischa to finish out the game just before the full-time whistle ensured a strong win for the Trim girls.
The match was a testament to the team's teamwork and determination ensuring a well-deserved victory.
