🔴 Our U/17s travelled to Drumree for the next round in their League campaign with a smaller team being short a few players.
⚾ Drumree went straight at Trim from the throw in but the girls held of with some great defending from the backs. A low scoring first half but Drumree going in at
half time 1-01 to Trim's 0-01
⚾ A second half of strong attacks from both teams with some great out field work from the backs and midfield getting the ball up field creating more scoring
chances. Unfortunately it wasn't Trim's day and the game finished 4:04 to 3:05
The team can take great positives from the game. Their work rate in the second half was exceptional outscoring Drumree.
🔴 Special mention to young Kayleigh Massey who stepped up and stood between the posts as goalkeeper on the night. She was strong between the posts and
made some great blocks on goal scoring chances from Drumree and pin point puc outs.
