FT Áth Troim 0-08 Gaeil Colmcille 0-11

The lads gave a great account of themselves on the day. A mixed team of young and more experienced players were going in against Gaeil Colmcille’s first team.
Trim started well with Neil Heffernan opening the scoring but Trim were then to have a lean period for the next twenty minutes with the opposition putting up five points of their own before Trim finished out the half with
Neil converting two frees on the 27th and 29th minute to leave a more manageable deficit at the half time whistle.

HT Áth Troim 0-03 Gaeil Colmcille 0-05

Gaeil Colmcille had gone into the break with a two-point advantage but it was Áth Troim who took control of the game from the whistle to bring the game back to a draw
within the opening minutes of the second half with another point from Neil and a point from half time substitute Sean Foley.
Unfortunately, Trim just couldn't get on top of this encounter but certainly weren’t making it easy for the Gaeils more experienced team.
All players gave it their all and some great individual performances were seen throughout the sixty minutes.

Well done to the players and their management of Deccy Murray and Alan Ennis on their Championship season
