🇲🇨 Camogie Div3 League Match Rnd1- Trim 5-07 v Dunderry 1-01 🇲🇨

Trim got their season off to a great start beating neighbour's Dunderry in their opening match in the Division 3 league. Trim played with a strong breeze in the first half and were on the scoreboard within two mins with a great point from Shona. Three points in a row from Amy helped Trim to settle in to the game before Shona scored a great goal to begin to put daylight between the teams. Trim competed well on the Dunderry puckouts with Caoimhe, Alex, Julieanne and Rian doing well around the middle of the park. With some great teamwork and build up play Rachel scored a great goal to put Trim in a dominant position at half time with a lead of 2-07 to 0-01.

Trim had the luxury of introducing all five subs following the half time break. With the changes and playing in to a strong breeze Trim continued to dominate the game. Amy got the first score of the half with a nicely placed shot in to the bottom corner of the net. Lauren who came on at half time finished the scoring for Trim with two finely taken goals. All in all the game was a really good team performance against tough opposition and the management team of Leighton, Zane and Caitriona will be delighted to get the campaign off to a winning start.
