Trim Junior C played their last group game against St Mary’s in Donore on Sunday afternoon. In very wet and tough conditions both sides played attacking football in the first half and St Mary’s led by a couple of points at the break. In the second half St Mary’s got a couple of early scores and took a grip on the game as they brought on fresh legs. The Trim girls battled hard to the end but St Marys ran out winners on the day. Trim still qualify for a quarter final spot with Senchalstown up next.
