Semi Final Qualification - Sunday 24th Nov Áth Troim v Gaeil Colmcille Throw in 1pm in Grangegodden
FT Áth Troim 5-12 Dunderry 1-14
Last Friday evening Trim took on Dunderry in the 3rd round of the U19 Division 2 championship with the home side knowing that victory would be enough to secure a semi-final spot. The visitors got off to the ideal start finding the back of the Trim net with less than 30 seconds on the clock. Their bright start continued and points either side of an Adam Donoghue score for Trim gave them a 1-02 to 0-01 lead after just three minutes. The home side quickly regained their composure and points from Kyle Ennis and Jesse O’Rourke drew Trim level before a George Douglas goal gave Trim the lead. Tadgh Carty who was deployed at full forward was causing the Dunderry full-back line all sorts of problems and in the 16th minute he put clear daylight between the teams when he scored Trims second goal of the game. Points from Jesse O’Rourke, Kyle Ennis and Adam Donoghue along with a third goal for Trim scored by Jesse O’Rourke gave Trim a commanding lead at the half time whistle
